Conan Exiles Star Metal Locations Map
The metors follow the north east flow of the western north map. Locate the center of the mounds of dead. There is a dot in the water go north east till u hit that mountain range. They are along the front side of the mountain and the ground below a bit. The mountain flows northeast. They can be on the right side and top going ne maybe 3 inches or so. If they dont hit that mountain they will be above the eyelid lake in the north east direction again between the 2 mountain ranges up till the front glaciers of the ice cavern cave whatever its called.edit: hundreds farmed.
All i can say about meteorite shards falling, is they can fall even AT WALL.So basicaly they can fall near NPCs base and u will NOT able to harvest it, cuz u cant built some near NPCs bases. (usualy if shards are in difficult places u can built foundation around it, place explosive jar on it and ka-boom).

Actually for me same as before that dissapointed patch, shells wasn't broke from one blow, well some of them blows up but some of them not, just random, like whole that game.And meteorites fall in same area ( frozen lake, forest nerby, mountains nerby, all area close to Ice Temple) but in different places, its pure random. Last time, i was building a kinda foundations stairway to get access to an unreachable shell of meteor.by the time i got up there and placed the explo jar, the meteor just disappeared.i think it's because an other wave of meteors was about to pop and thus despawned the old one.not sure though.

The best is to throw orbs, with heavy attack, 4 poison + 1 fire, then just climb on it and harvest it, just carefull at the fall.

The best is to throw orbs, with heavy attack, 4 poison + 1 fire, then just climb on it and harvest it, just carefull at the fallThis is indeed the cheapest and most flexible way but jars are faster eventhough sometimes a bit glitchy.So Eldorahn, did you finally manage to crack them since last patch? There are a number of black ice nodes you can mine right in the area where the meteors fall, and the frost temple farther north is full of the stuff too. You can get hundreds of it in a matter of minutes mining nodes.Those meteors though. I can't find a single one. Standing in the area they fall in, searching all over. A few places you will find meteors:Below the Ymir priest. I have an outpost there with stairs going down into the valley. I see 2 sometimes 3 meteors in that area when I pass thru.Above the Ice lake, in various spots. If your having trouble looking, go above the treeline, and they are pretty easy to spot.Around the frozen lake. Ive found them all around the lake on all sides. Just be ready to get mobbed by sabertooths, wolves, mammoths etc.Also, look at cliff faces, sometimes you will see them sticking out of a cliff face.

Do they despawn?It's old post written when devs nerfed black ice drop chance from ice rocknoses, but black ice nodes still gave normal ice instead of black ice.
They've fixed nodes with next patch, so post is irrelevant now.
